A serving Metropolitan Police officer charged with the kidnap and murder of Sarah Everard has arrived in court.
Wayne Couzens was taken to Westminster Magistrates Court in a security van on Saturday just before 9am on Saturday.
He is accused of abducting and killing the 33-year-old, who went missing in south London nine days ago.
The 48-year-old, a firearms officer from Scotland Yard’s Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command, was arrested at his home in Deal, Kent, on Tuesday night.
