Colombo (News 1st); 32,539 people were immunized with following the jabbing of the ‘AstraZeneca Covishield’ vaccine across Sri Lanka.
On Friday (29) 5,286 people received the ‘AstraZeneca Covishield’ vaccine and the total number of people who received the vaccine stands at 37,825.

An Indian Army pilot was killed on Monday after his helicopter crash-landed in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, NDTV reported, citing officials. Another pilot sustained injuries.
Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv crash-landed inside the Basohli Brigade headquarters near Lakhanpur in the evening, leaving both the pilots injured, according to India Today. Both the pilots were taken to a nearby Military Base Hospital, where one of them succumbed to his injuries, while another was receiving treatment. A defence spokesperson confirmed the death.

Kathua (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], January 26 (ANI): The Indian Army Dhruv chopper crash-landed at Lakhanpur in Kathua of Jammu and Kashmir in which one pilot lost his life while two sustained injuries.
Kathua Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shalinder Mishra confirmed this information. Two pilots have received grievous injuries. They have been evacuated and rushed to Military Base Hospital nearby, Mishra said. One of the injured pilots succumbed to his injuries, he added. (ANI)

Army helicopter crash lands in Kathua, 2 pilots injured

KATHUA: Two pilots were grievously injured when an Indian Army’s Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv crash landed in Lakhanpur area of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, police said.
The pilots have been evacuated from the helicopter and rushed to a Military Base Hospital nearby.
Kathua district police chief Shailendra Kumar Mishra confirmed the incident.
“A Dhruv helicopter of the Army crash landed near Lakhanpur. Two Army pilots have been injured in the incident. They have been evacuated to military base hospital in Pathankot.”
