Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], February 20 (ANI): Around 40,000 youth have registered online for the ongoing Army recruitment rally under the aegis of Tiger Division at Sunjuwan Military Station, informed a Defence official on Saturday. This is the first Army recruitment rally in this region after prolonged lockdown and COVID-19 restrictions. Army to hold 3-day recruitment rally in Srinagar in March

SRINAGAR: The Army is holding a three-day recruitment rally for the candidates of all districts of Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir in Srinagar in March, a defence ministry spokesman said.
He said Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Srinagar will host a recruitment rally at Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JKLI) Regimental Centre from March 24 to 26,2021.
Candidates of all the districts will be covered, he said adding dates for every district will be announced later.
Army and Central Paramilitary Forces (CPMF) are organizing recruitment rallies in the Kashmir valley for the past over one decade. Recruitment rallies are witnessing heavy response from youths despite militant threat to stay away from such rallies.
UDUPI: A good 11-months after it was initially planned, the Indian Army is finally moving ahead to conduct its recruitment rally at Mahatma Gandhi district stadium here from March 17.
With online applications already invited for this purpose in 2020, Army is looking to recruit youths from Bagalkot, Chikkamagaluru, Dakshina Kannada, Davanagere, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Shivamogga, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Shivamogga and Vijayapura districts.
Confirming that the recruitment rally is the same one that was scheduled from April 4 to 15 last year, Col Firdosh P Dubash, director (recruitment), Army Recruitment Office, Mangaluru told TOI that the Army had completed all process to commence the recruitment process as on March 18.

According to the notification, the candidates will receive their admit card on their registered email-id two weeks before the commencement of rally.
