Every Monday, Soldiers from all over post work in the motor pool to inspect their vehicles during preventative maintenance checks and services. Maybe the vehicle hasn’t moved an inch from last week, or maybe the vehicle has been driven a few hundreds of miles. Regardless, maintenance is still happening every week on the same vehicle. In order to assist with this equipment that is not engaged in combat, underutilized, and excessively serviced, the U.S. Army developed Non-Combat Operations Maintenance Plans. Sgt.
