RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday inaugurated a 100-bed hospital and Foundation University College of Nursing during his visit to the Fauji Foundation headquarters.
The army chief was given a briefing on the ongoing and future projects of Fauji Foundation and review of various set-ups working under it, said a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations.
Gen Bajwa appreciated the performance and commitment of Fauji Foundation in the provision of quality services and assured it of his full support in all its future endeavours.
Earlier on arrival, the army chief was received by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fauji Foundation Waqar Ahmed Malik.

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday re-emphasised Pakistan’s commitment to Afghan peace process.
He was talking to US Centcom Commander Gen Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr., who called on him at the General Headquarters.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) quoted Gen Bajwa as having told Gen McKenzie that “Pakistan is committed to efforts for peace in Afghanistan as it is important for peace in Pakistan”.
“Matters of mutual interest and regional security situation with particular reference to ongoing Afghanistan reconciliation process were discussed during the meeting,” said the ISPR.
