Garcia Announces Bipartisan Leadership Of Military Spouse Relief Act On Tuesday, Congressman Mike Garcia, R- Santa Clarita, announced that he and Congressman Salud Carbajal, D- Santa Barbara, will be co-leading the Military Spouse Licensing Relief Act also known as House Resolution 2650. The Military Spouse Licensing Relief Act, a bill being discussed in Congress that is designed to aid military families, is now set to have the bipartisan leadership of Mike Garcia, a Republican, and Salud Carbajal, a Democrat. “I am proud to join Congressman Carbajal in this bipartisan effort to support our military families and remove this burdensome obstacle that many military families face,” Garcia said. “Our men and women in uniform and their families sacrifice greatly for this nation and deserve all of the support they can get.
