Tehran, Mar 11 (Prensa Latina) Iran demanded the United Kingdom to rejoin the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal in a telephone conversation between Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, quoted in Tehran Thursday.
Rouhani clarified that the path to diplomacy is to lift the anti-Iranian measures ordered by the United States and comply with its obligations in virtue of the multilateral treaty.
International cooperation suffered damages due to Trump s policies, he added, while the UN and the Security Council did not act adequately and impartially during the term of the former US president.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani yesterday said that conditions are right for all parties to rejoin the 2015 nuclear deal, adding that the United States should take the first step, Al Jazeera repor.
