Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he hopes the violence in Israel comes to an end, but doesn’t see it happening any time soon. In an interview Sunday, he pointed out Israel was hit by unprovoked attacks by Hamas on Jerusalem Day with thousands of rockets fired on the country’s cities.
No conventional missile defense system, however advanced, is fully immune against swarm techniques.
Amid a new border conflict with Hamas, Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system faces its toughest test in years.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) continue to exchange fire with Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), in what is the most serious flare-up in the Gaza conflict since 2014. Rafael’s President and CEO, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Yoav Har-Even praised the system on the anniversary. “Iron Dome is a household name in Israel, and has become synonymous with excellence. Thanks to them, Iron Dome’s capabilities are light years beyond its origina
