SOCIAL JUSTICE YOGA WITH EBONY UTLEY (Thursday)
If you’re not altogether sure what social justice yoga entails, think of it as a relaxing yoga session and pep talk on how to be an upstanding, involved community member.
Led by Cal State Long Beach professor and author Ebony Utley, this free virtual yoga session is modeled after “Kemetic Yin” which combines ancient Egyptian yoga with mindfulness, meditation and conversation about how yoga can be a form of care for oneself and one’s community.
