Do not click on these texts that are fraudulent. If you have concerns and are expecting a package contact the delivery service directly.

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated On March 16, 2021 at 12:58 A.M. the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a burglary in progress at 498 Hill Farm Road in Northwestern Iredell County. The victim reported that someone was trying to get into the house from the garage door. Deputies arrived and secured the scene and checked the area for the suspect who had already left the area. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to gather evidence and witness statements.

Authorities Seeking Suspect In Vehicle Break-ins, Peeping Incidents

A suspect in vehicle break-ins who has outstanding warrants is being sought by authorities. Statesville Police report they are seeking 35-year-old Travis Al Jeron Cousar, who is a resident of South Carolina currently living in Statesville.
Police began receiving calls in October, 2020 regarding a man breaking into unlocked vehicles in neighborhoods in East Statesville. Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division worked to identify the suspect, described as a black male, appearing to be in his mid 30s to early 40s, unknown to law enforcement.

Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Friday, April 9, 2021 at 8:19 pm the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a shooting which had occurred at 221 Rock Springs Road near Harmony.
When deputies arrived on scene, they located a male who had been shot several times laying in the side yard of the residence. The deputies administered emergency medical care, and started performing CPR on the victim. The scene was secured, Iredell County EMS arrived and continued administering care until it was determined the victim was deceased.
