(CNSNews.com) - The Democrats recently passed $1.9 trillion stimulus bill provides $50 billion, to remain available into 2025, for FEMA s Disaster Relief Fund, which covers costs associated with major disasters, including reimbursement for COVID victims funeral expenses.
Acting FEMA Director Bob Fenton told a House Homeland Security subcommittee on Wednesday he expects funeral assistance to start flowing in April. FEMA is on track to implement and start the Funeral Assistance Program in early April, Fenton told the committee:
