Image Source: IANS News Khartoum, April 6 : Sudan s Security and Defence Council has declared a state of emergency in West Darfur state and authorised forces to adopt all necessary measures to end armed clashes which led to the killing of 18 people, while 54 others were injured. The declaration came after Chairman of the Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan held an emergency meeting on the incidents late Monday, reports Xinhua news agency. Defence Minister Yassin Ibrahim Yassin announced that the Cuncil has formed a higher committee to deal with the incidents.
