The BBQ Rebellion is over. Adamson Barbecue, the Etobicoke-based purveyors of Texas-style barbecue, has lost its bid to have lockdowns necessitated by the pandemic under the Reopening Ontario Act declared unconstitutional.
The highly anticipated court case – Adamson owner Adam Skelly had been promoting the case as the one that would expose the vast global conspiracy that the pandemic is a hoax – was over before it got started on Monday. Apparently, there was a problem with the paperwork.

The Free Market Institute at Texas Tech University has announced their next speaker in what should be an unforgettable evening. The Free Market Institute will be welcoming North Korean defector and human rights activist, Yeonmi Park to Texas Tech University to give a guest lecture based on her memoir, In Order to Live: A North Korean Girl s Journey to Freedom.
The lecture will take place on Monday, April 26 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the International Cultural Center Auditorium which is located on the campus of Texas Tech University. The International Cultural Center is located at 601 Indiana Avenue.
