The Wildkits crowded Maine South on every possession, limiting the Hawks to just 4 field goals total over the first 3 quarters on their way to a 45-33 triumph and earned at least a share of the Central Suburban League South division championship for the 7th year in a row.

COVID-19 attendance restrictions have been slightly loosened for kindergarten through high school extracurricular events, and the changes come right at the start of the high school boys soccer and football seasons.
According to the latest sports safety guidance posted on the Illinois Department of Public Health’s website any gatherings of up to 20% capacity are allowed when an event is outdoors. Indoor events such as boys and girls basketball, boys swimming and diving, bowling and volleyball still can only have 50 spectators.
