Valley senior excels athletically and academically LONDON MILLS-Jacob Schleich is a senior at Spoon River Valley High School. He is a standout student/athlete who has been team captain all four years for the North Fulton Basketball team. As a senior, he and his family have been reflecting on his career. Coach, Jay Brenner has been his coach since his freshmen year, “There aren’t enough superlatives to describe what kind of player, teammate and person he is. My first year as varsity coach here, he was an incoming freshman.” Brenner continued,” I started him as a point guard in our first game of the that season.
