Illinois Capital Development Board Selects Design Firm for Renovations at Quincy Veteransâ Home
QUINCY â The Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB) and the Illinois Department of Veteransâ Affairs (IDVA) today announced Veterans United Constructors, a joint venture between Alberici Constructors, Inc. and River City Construction, LLC, has been selected as the preferred architectural design and construction firms for the design and construction of the new nursing home and domiciliary at the Quincy Veteransâ Home. The $230 million project, funded by Governor Pritzkerâs bipartisan Rebuild Illinois capital plan, will provide high-quality, skilled care to Illinois veterans and their spouses. CDB will oversee the projectâs design and construction in accordance with the protocol for state-appropriated capital projects.
