Illinois State Universities doubles commitment to real estate fund

Illinois State Universities Retirement System, Champaign, made a follow-on commitment of $100 million to Carlyle Property Investors.
The $21.2 billion pension fund originally committed $100 million to the open-end, core-plus real estate fund managed by
Carlyle Group in 2018.
The follow-on commitment was approved at SURS Jan. 29 board meeting and is subject to completion of subscription documents, SURS spokeswoman Beth A. Spencer said.
