CHICAGO Four people were shot, one of them fatally, Monday in Chicago including a 52-year-old man who was shot and killed while riding in the backseat of a car in Irving Park on the Northwest Side.
He was shot by someone inside a passing Honda Odyssey about 4:45 a.m. in the 4100-block of West Irving Park Road, Chicago police said. The man, shot in his legs, was driven to Community First Hospital and was set to be transferred to Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Police said he was pronounced dead about 7 a.m. He was identified as Ramon Gonalez-Borrego of Melrose Park, the Cook County medical examiner s office said.

He was on the sidewalk about 10 p.m. in the 500 block of East 92nd Street, when someone fired shots from a black sedan, Chicago police said. The teen was struck in the torso and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.

He was driving about 3:40 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Irving Park Road, when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up alongside and someone inside opened fire, police said. The 30-year-old was struck in the leg, back and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center. His condition was not immediately known.
