TWO MORE SPORTS ANNOUNCED FOR 2023 EUROPEAN GAMES 12/21/20 Following the announcement last week of the first three sports to be officially confirmed as part of the European Games Kraków-MaÅ‚opolska 2023, the European Olympic Committees (EOC) has now confirmed the next two sports to join the programme. Karate, which will feature for the first time at the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year, will return for the third consecutive European Games in 2023 showing how important Europe’s premier continental multi-sport event is for the sport. President of the European Karate Federation Antonio Espinós said he was delighted with the inclusion of the sport in 2023. “We and all the European Karate community are very pleased to be part of the European Games 2023.
