Maroochydore Surf Life Saving Club head coach Nathan Greig said his group was “super excited” to put its skills to the test again.
“I think we’re looking pretty good and we’ve got a really solid group of young nippers there,” he said.
“We kind of went through a rebuilding phase last year or two but we’re certainly getting back towards the peak of where we were.”
He said the club finished outside the top three overall in 2019 but was looking forward to cracking back into a podium result.
