Drag Race UK just taught the Piers Morgans of TV a lesson

Along with gorgeous runway outfits and gag-worthy performances, Drag Race has also proven to be a vital platform for important conversation – whether exploring the intersectionality of Black queerness, body dysmorphia or gender expression. Last week s episode of Drag Race UK (January 28) may have had one of the biggest shock eliminations of the season so far – yes it really was rude , Asttina – but it was a heartfelt moment between Bimini Bon Boulash and Ginny Lemon that set social media alight. It started with Ginny opening up to Sister Sister about her signature colour, yellow, which runs through her drag outfits as well as their hair.

The New Corporation recaps the ensuing years of economic collapses and global decay, even incorporating COVID-19 into its narrative as both a technical obstacle to be worked through and the inevitable result of corporate disregard for public health. (And yes, this anti-corporate exposé counts Rogers and Bell among its production partners, which is perhaps the most 2020 thing about it.)
