Emmerdale has cast Drag Race UK season one winner The Vivienne to play a part in its special Pride episode. The Drag Queen who won the competition in 2019 has taken to Twitter to announce the big news earlier today.
Sharing a glamourous photo of her standing infront of the Emmerdale road sign, she tweeted: “So proud to announce I’ve joined the cast of @emmerdale to celebrate their first ever pride!!! Make sure tune in for a creaking episode!!! #emmerdale #pride” Since smashing the first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, she has gone on to host the Netflix YouTube show I Like to Watch in the company of fellow competitor Baga Chipz.

To celebrate Pride next month, The Vivienne will be joining the Emmerdale cast for what promises to be a very special episode.

Since winning the first edition of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, The Vivienne has gone on to host the Netflix YouTube show I Like to Watch alongside fellow contestant Baga Chipz and landed her very own BBC Three Series, The Vivienne Takes On Hollywood.
The Vivienne will be playing herself as she joins the villagers on their first ever Pride, which will see Emmerdale’s LGBTQ+ community and the church join forces for a day of celebration.
Alan Carr has revealed he realised how fat he had got in lockdown after a director jokingly asked someone young and healthy to replace him filming a chase scene for his new show.
The comedian, 44, said he was asked to act in a section of the upcoming fourth series of There s Something About Movies where he was running from a zombie.
There s Something About Movies is a panel show where guest stars battle it out at a film-themed quiz and sometimes act out scenes from famous movies.
