Egypt has invited Israel, Hamas and the Palestinian Authority for separate talks that aim at consolidating the cease-fire that ended an 11-day war between Israel and the Gaza Strip’s militant Hamas rulers, an Egyptian intelligence official said Thursday. The talks would also focus on accelerating the reconstruction process in Gaza.
“It is really, at once, very clever and very stupid,” he said.
In addition, BLM has aligned its racial justice cause with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which seeks to move American institutions from a perceived pro-Israel position to one linked with the Palestinian cause.
“I think they’ve just made explicit what was always there, as they used to try to play it both ways despite clear-cut signs,” said Ricki Hollander with the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA). “BLM in no uncertain terms is in solidarity with Palestine. There is this nexus between the two groups, BLM and BDS, and nobody is trying to hide it anymore.”
An Israeli official said that the government is working closely with Egyptian officials ‘to reinforce the cease-fire,' but would not confirm whether Israeli officials would be attending more official talks soon

Blinken met both Israeli and Palestinian leaders during two days of talks, throwing Washington s support behind the Egyptian-brokered truce that ended 11 days of heavy Israeli bombing of Gaza and rocket fire from the impoverished coastal enclave into Israel.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken landed in Jordan on Wednesday on the last leg of a Mideast tour that aims to shore up an Egypt-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian groups in Gaza.
After meeting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi - whom he praised for helping bring an end to the intense violence relatively quickly - he flew to Jordan, where half of the 10 million-strong population is of Palestinian origin.
