Iran begins enriching uranium to highest ever level

The amount is much lower than the weapons-grade level of 90 percent, but much higher than any level Iran has produced thus far.  Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, unveiled the news on Twitter, writing, “The young and God-believing Iranian scientists managed to achieve a 60% enriched uranium product.”

Israeli officials sent out greetings for a “Ramadan Kareem” to the country’s Muslim citizens and others around the world on Tuesday, the first day of the holiest month of the Islamic calendar, which coincided with the eve of Yom HaZikaron, the Memorial Day for Israel’s fallen soldiers and terror victims. “This is the second year that the holy month of Ramadan is celebrated under the shadow of the coronavirus. However, unlike last year, this year we are already seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Biden to move ahead with $23 billion UAE weapons sale approved by Trump

(Larry Luxner) HERZLIYA In recent years, the bilateral relationship between Israel and Paraguay has fluctuated between hot and cold, to say the least. In May 2018, the landlocked South American nation of 7.1 million transferred its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem the third country to do so after the United States and Guatemala in a much-publicized ceremony led by Paraguay’s visiting president, Horatio Cartes and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Israeli government’s position regarding an impending investigation by the International Criminal Court of alleged war crimes committed in occupied Palestine has been finally declared by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “It will be made clear that Israel is a country with rule of law that knows how to investigate itself,” Netanyahu said in a statement on April 8. Subsequently, Israel “completely rejects” any accusations that it has committed war crimes. But it won’t be so easy for Tel Aviv this time around. True, Israel is not a party to the Rome Statute, according to which the ICC was established, but it can still be held accountable, because the State of Palestine is a member of the ICC.
