AJK president says despite Modi’s policy of irredentism and colonialism, Kashmiris vow to continue their struggle

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has unequivocally said that New Delhi s dream of turning the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir into Hindu Rashtra will never materialise as the Kashmiri people are determined to continue their struggle for freedom and the right to self-determination till the last drop of their blood.
He made these remarks while addressing – as a keynote speaker – a webinar on “Marginalization of Kashmiris in the Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by Indian Government”, organised by the Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI).

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Security Division and Strategic Policy Planning Dr Moeed Yusuf Wednesday said Pakistan’s vision of connectivity and economic security would bring dividends to the region and the partner countries.
Addressing the 8th Advisory Board Meeting of the National Security Committee the SAPM said Pakistan was on a path to become a global economic hub and aimed to become a melting pot of competing global economic interests, said a press release.

He was chairing the 8th Advisory Board Meeting of the National Security Committee. Dr. Yusuf said that under the economic security model, instead of the conventional geostrategic lens, Pakistan aims to leverage its geo-economic position by partnering with the world. “We are looking for economic partnerships and provide avenues for investment,” he said.
Talking about the regional connectivity, the SAPM said that Pakistan, because of its geo-economic location, has the potential to serve as a regional pivot and become a hub of trade and economic activities. “Pakistan’s vision of connectivity and economic security will bring dividends to the region and the partners,” said Dr. Moeed Yusuf.

Islamabad : Speakers at a webinar have underlined the need for use of interfaith cultural exchanges and employment of soft power tools abroad to showcase the true image of Islam as a religion of peace and accommodation.
Besides, they urged the Muslim migrants with international civil society organisations to play their due role in that regard, said a press release.
They were addressing a webinar titled ‘Rising Islamophobia & the Otherisation of Muslims: Root Causes and Possible Remedies’ here organised by the Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI).
Dr Mehmet urged the need to understand the socio-political angularities and the role of media in emphasizing the negative stereotypes about Muslims.
