Azerbaijan`s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has met with a delegation led by General Nadeem Raza, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Pakistani delegation first visited the Alley of Shehids (Martyrs) to lay wreaths and flowers at the graves of the heroic sons of the Motherland, who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Then, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Ministry of Defense. General Nadeem Raza passed along the guard of honor, and the national anthems of both countries were played. General Nadeem Raza signed the Book of Honor following the protocol.
