Pakistani scholars, officials hail decision to build King Salman Mosque May 08, 2021

ISLAMABAD Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadees Secretary General Sheikh Dr. Abdulkarim Bakhsh has commended the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Mosque project at the new campus of the International Islamic University (IIU) in Pakistan’s capital city, Islamabad.
Sheikh Dr. Bakhsh noted that the under-construction mosque is another gift from the Saudi leadership to the Pakistani people and will serve as another Islamic landmark and a symbol of Pakistani-Saudi friendship similar to King Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.
He also said that the mosque would have significant contributions to supporting the IIU s goals and ambitions.

he Foreign Office of Pakistan has released a “Joint Statement for the visit of the Prime Minister Imran Khan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”.
The text of the Statement is hereunder:
On the kind invitation, extended by His Royal Highness, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, His Excellency Mr. Imran Khan paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 7-9 May 2021, corresponding to 25-27 Ramadan 1442/AH. His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, warmly welcomed the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Travel ban for passengers from Egypt, Philippines begins

Muscat: The Supreme Committee decision to ban those coming from the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Philippines from entering the Sultanate has come into effect starting from Friday, 7th May 2021.
Omani citizens, diplomats, health workers and their families are excluded from the above, and the excluded groups will be subject to the procedures adopted upon entering the Sultanate.
Those coming from the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of the Philippines and those coming from any other country if they had passed through any of the two countries during the 14 days preceding the request for entry to the Sultanate. Added to the list of 11 countries their residents are banned from entering Oman since February 24, 2021, and where (the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Bangladesh) have been added to the list on April 26, 2021
