According to statements by Hamas’s military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, these include Sejjil-type missiles, as well as SH-85s, J-80s, SA-120s, S-40s and Q-20s. The Brigades announced separately that Hamas is using “a new, special tactic to fire the highly destructive Sejjil missiles,” with the aim of evading interception by Israel’s Iron Dome defense system. Iran Urged To Stop Jailing, Harassing Kurdish Journalists

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) is urging Iran to stop its imprisonment and harassment of Kurdish journalists amid what human rights groups have denounced as a crackdown on members of the minority group.
In a
statement late on May 12, the New York-based media-freedom watchdog cited news reports and sources familiar with the cases as saying that Iranian authorities had arrested at least eight Kurdish journalists since May 2020.
Three of them Navid Seyed-Mohammadi, Jafar Osafi, and Nasrullah Lashani remain in detention. Iranian authorities targeting of Kurdish journalists adds a dimension of ethnic discrimination to the country s already dire campaign to imprison members of the press, CPJ Middle East and North Africa researcher Justin Shilad said.

In the past few years, Iranian regime officials have been boasting that Iran built up the military capabilities of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) that enable them to target Israel s strategic depth.
Iranian officials and commanders of Iran s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) praised the military aid extended by Iran to the Palestinians resistance organizations in the past and present – especially the transfer of tens of thousands of Fajr-5 missiles – which has enabled them to build up the advanced and independent ballistic missile capabilities that they employed against Israel in the previous rounds of fighting and are employing now as well.

Iran s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) is accusing a U.S. Coast Guard vessel of provocation after Washington said the ship fired warning shots against approaching Iranian military boats in the Persian Gulf.
The IRGC said on May 11 its boats had encountered the U.S. ships the previous day, and accused them of unprofessional behavior, such as flying helicopters, firing flares, and aimless and provocative shooting.
According to the Pentagon, the U.S. Coast Guard ship Maui
fired about 30 warning shots after 13 fast boats from the IRGC s navy came close to it and other U.S. vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
