BELLEVUE TWP. Police have released the names of two people who were killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday in Bellevue Township, about 15 miles northeast of Battle Creek.
Troy Bass, 53, and his mother, Loralie Hunter, 71, were killed when the vehicle they were in was struck by a pickup just before 10 a.m. Friday on Cronk Highway, west of Battle Creek Highway, according to the Eaton County Sheriff s Office. Another passenger in their vehicle was in critical condition.
The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries, police said.
Hunter s husband, Ross Hunter, passed away April 10 and his funeral visitation was scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday. The pair died in the wreck just over a half hour earlier.
