The State Administration Council held the coordination meeting at the office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, here, this morning, with an address delivered by Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
Present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Vice Chairman of the Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Council members General Mya Tun Oo, Admiral Tin Aung San, General Maung Maung Kyaw, Lieutenant-General Moe Myint Tun, Mahn Nyein Maung, U Thein Nyunt, U Khin Maung Swe, Daw Aye Nu Sein, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, U Moung Har, U Sai Lone Saing and Saw Denial, Secretary Lieutenant-General Aung Lin Dway and Joint Secretary Lieutenant-General Ye Win Oo.

State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met the Council Members this morning at the meeting hall of the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman and clarified the matters about political, economic, social, administration, peace and the rule of law.
Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Council Secretary Lieutenant-General Aung Lin Dway and Council Joint Secretary Lieutenant-General Ye Win Oo, Council Members General Mya Tun Oo, Admiral Tin Aung San, General Maung Maung Kyaw, Lieutenant-General Moe Myint Tun, Mahn Nyein Maung, U Thein Nyunt, U Khin Maung Swe, Daw Aye Nu Sein, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, U Moung Har, U Sai Lone Seng and Saw Daniel were also present at the meeting.

The Myanmar military regime formed an official national governing body on Tuesday, one day after staging a coup against the democratically elected National League for Democracy (NLD)-led government.
Christened the “State Administrative Council” (SAC), the 11-member body is largely made up of military officials and led by military chief-cum-coup leader Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
Among the 11 council members are three civilians. Two of these New National Democracy Party chairman U Thein Nyunt and National Democratic Force chairman U Khin Maung Swe are members of parties seen as political foes of the ousted NLD. YANGON Four years ago today, Myanmar lost one of its leading reformers U Ko Ni – a longtime critic of the military’s role in politics in a fatal shooting. The truth about his murder has still not come out.
The respected Muslim lawyer was assassinated in a plot involving ex-military officers in daylight outside Yangon International Airport on Jan. 29, 2017, as he returned from an overseas trip. U Ko Ni was the National League for Democracy’s (NLD) legal adviser and an aide to Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.

Naypyitaw Mandalay Region is seeing the second-largest number of COVID-19 cases after Yangon Region, and deaths have increased daily, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports.
More than 10,000 cases have been reported in Mandalay Region with over 300 new cases on average per day. As of Thursday, the region reported 10,433 cases and 141 deaths and set a single-day record of 363 new cases.
Of seven districts in the region, Mandalay District was hit hardest with 8,469 coronavirus cases. Thirteen people died from COVID-19 in Mandalay Region on Wednesday, and 10 of the deaths were in Mandalay District, where semi-lockdown is in effect.
