With his farmers market just three months old since he opened it to the people of North West, rapper-turned-farmer Motlapele “Mo Molemi” Morule has been forced to temporarily close shop after recurring break-ins.
He revealed to Daily Sun that he had already lost R20,000 due to theft.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday in connection with vehicle break-ins at two Columbia hardware stores.
Deputies were called to the Home Depot located at 7701 Two Notch Rd. around 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 4 after a man reported seeing a black male wearing a red hat in his vehicle when he was returning from shopping.
The victim says that when the suspect saw him, he pointed a gun at him and demanded his cell phone. The suspect then got into a dark-colored older model Honda Accord and drove away.
A Maywin Dve home was reportedly broken into the same morning, between 3.30am and 5am.
A vehicle was reported as stolen from a shed at the premises.
Another Tieri property, on Emuapple St, was hit between December 9 and January 4, with building materials, windows and doors reported damaged.
A burglary was reported at a Hannah Cres property at Dysart at 6.30pm on January 4.
A mess was left throughout the premises but no property was reported stolen.
Police will continue to investigate the incidents.
“Any information the public can provide regarding these matters would be appreciated by police,” the QPS spokeswoman said.
