One patient, a woman in her 60s, was hospitalised after her involvement in a two-vehicle crash in Gladstone this morning.
The incident occurred around 7.45am.
The incident caused heavy traffic delays and a detour was put in place to stem the morning traffic flow.

Paramedics are responding to a single-vehicle crash in the Gladstone region on Sunday afternoon.
A QAS crew was detailed to attend the intersection of Kiora Rd and the Bruce Hwy, Collosseum around 4.20pm following reports a BMW had collided with a guard rail.
Two people were in the vehicle at the time of the incident, however, were not trapped and managed to free themselves.
The ages of both occupants is unclear, as is the severity of any injuries they sustained.

Update (3.45pm): Emergency services crews have remained at the scene of a suspicious package located in a Gladstone industrial estate. A QAS spokeswoman said paramedics had remained on scene for the majority of Monday afternoon to support Queensland Police Service and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services officers. A QPS spokeswoman said police investigations were continuing. It doesn t look as if it has wrapped up just yet, the matter is still ongoing at this stage, the spokeswoman said.
Initial (1.54pm): Emergency services have responded to the discovery of a suspicious package in the Gladstone region this morning. A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said police received a call for assistance from Fort Knox Storage Gladstone, at Dalrymple Dr, about 8.15am and paramedics were dispatched to the location about 1.50pm.
