KODAK — A wreck in front of the Swaggerty’s Farm Sausages on Hwy. 66 left the highway closed during rush hour travel Tuesday. There was little information available on the accident Wednesday — Sevierville Police investigated the accident, but the report was not complete Wednesday afternoon. The wreck was reported at about 4 p.m., and involved a collision between a Kia Soul and a Ford F-150, SPD spokesman Bob Stahlke said. One person was entrapped when their vehicle overturned, and was airlifted to UT Medical Center with serious injuries. The emergency response left the road closed from about 4 to 5:20 pm., Stahlke said, leaving the busy highway congested for some time after that.
