MPs tell City watchdog to spell out timeframe for Woodford investigation
Regulators earlier this week insisted they are carrying out a full and thorough investigation and blamed Covid-19 for some of the delays

MPs have put pressure on the City watchdog to speed up its investigation into the collapse of Neil Woodford s empire following mounting criticism that it is taking too long.
Members of the Treasury Select Committee urged the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to set out a timetable amid mounting questions over Mr Woodford s audacious comeback bid.
It is likely to force the FCA to give more details on the progress of its work, after regulators earlier this week insisted they are carrying out a full and thorough investigation and blamed Covid-19 for some of the delays.
