ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China agreed Saturday to complete the investigation into the Dasu bus accident as soon as possible. It claimed the lives of 12 people, including nine Chinese nationals.
The agreement came during a telephonic discussion between China s Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi and Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed which continued for over half an hour. They discussed the tragic incident in the Upper Kohistan region.

Pakistan will accelerate its efforts to trace the perpetrators responsible for the Dasu bus attack, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has promised Chinese authorities.
“We’re fully cooperating with the Chinese investigation team and the matter is being supervised at the highest level,” he said during a telephonic conversation with China Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi.
On Wednesday, 13 people, including nine Chinese nationals, died when a passenger van carrying them to the Dasu hydropower plant fell into a ditch after an explosion. At least twenty-eight Chinese men were injured. The people killed included Chinese engineers, surveyors, and mechanical staff.

Pakistan and China agreed on Saturday to undertake the inquiry into the Dasu bus crash as quickly as feasible. It took the lives of 12 individuals, nine of them were Chinese nationals.
The agreement was reached after a phone call between China’s Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi and Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed that lasted more than 30 minutes. They talked about the unfortunate occurrence in Upper Kohistan.
This is the second high-level communication in two days, following Prime Minister Imran Khan’s phone conversation to Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, who assured him that all measures would be taken to examine the event.
