They discussed the tragic incident in the Upper Kohistan region.

On Wednesday, 13 people, including nine Chinese nationals, died when a passenger van carrying them to the Dasu hydropower plant fell into a ditch after an explosion. At least twenty-eight Chinese men were injured. The people killed included Chinese engineers, surveyors, and mechanical staff.

The agreement was reached after a phone call between China’s Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi and Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed that lasted more than 30 minutes. They talked about the unfortunate occurrence in Upper Kohistan. This is the second high-level communication in two days, following Prime Minister Imran Khan’s phone conversation to Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, who assured him that all measures would be taken to examine the event.
