Commission on Aging receives donation

Commission on Aging receives donation  Submitted to the Pioneer FacebookTwitterEmail The Osceola County Commission on Aging recently received a donation of food items and funding from the Jordan Balkema Elder Law Center in Big Rapids. The law center organized the food drive throughout Mecosta and Osceola counties during November and December. We received this generous donation of food and funds, and it is greatly appreciated, said COA director Justin Halliday. The funds will help support our Meals on Wheels Program and the food will help supply the local food pantry. The food donation was delivered to the Sears Food pantry which serves the Sears, Evart and Hersey communities, he said. (Submitted photo)
