As a precautionary measure, Lactalis Nestlé Chilled Dairy UK is voluntarily recalling Nestle Milkybar Little Treats 330g (6x55g) packs.
The recall notice applies to batches with the use by dates 13/02/2021 and 14/02/2021.
According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), the recall is due to a strong unpleasant salty taste caused by an ingredient which is part of the normal composition but that has been overdosed in the production of these batches. There is no food safety risk but impact on taste can be unpleasant to consumers.

Two popular SuperValu products are being is recalled due to the presence of an unauthorised pesticide.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) said certain batches of SuperValu Seed Mix and Sesame Seeds are being recalled as they contain ethylene oxide.
This pesticide is not authorised for use in foods sold in the EU.
Although the consumption of products containing the contaminated sesame seeds does not pose an immediate risk to health, there may be heath issues if there is continued consumption of ethylene oxide over a long period, according to the FSAI.

Longford shoppers are advised by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland that Boots UK is recalling batches of its Boots Multivitamins 180 tablets.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Boots stores supplied with the implicated batches.
