Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 8 (ANI): Suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waze, accused in Mansukh Hiren death case, has been taken to JJ Hospital for a clinical check-up on Thursday by National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials. Sachin Waze was brought this afternoon to hospital for a clinical check-up and was examined and sent back. The report has also been given to the concerned authorities, informed JJ Hospital.
Earlier today, Sachin Waze claimed a person named Darshan Ghodawat, introducing himself as a close aide of a senior Maharashtra Minister, had asked him to collect a monthly amount of Rs 100 crore from the illegal gutkha sellers.

NIA to record Param Bir Singh s statement in Sachin Waze s case ANI | Updated: Apr 07, 2021 12:02 IST
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 7 (ANI): Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh on Wednesday has been called by National Investigation Agency (NIA) to record a statement in Sachin Waze s case.
An NIA source had confirmed that statements of officers are being recorded to have clarity on the functioning of the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) and Sachin Waze in particular.
Parambir Singh is third in the series of senior Officers of Mumbai police who have been called by NIA to record statements.
Before him, two Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Parag Manere and Akbar Pathan have recorded their statements with NIA.
