Image used for representational purpose only NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board on Thursday decided to postpone the UP Board exams till May 20 following the spurt in the number of COVID-19 cases in the state. The decision has been taken in the virtual meeting held by chief minister Yogi Adityanath. The UP board exams were to be held initially from April 24. But they were postponed to May 8 due to the panchayat elections in the state. However, the exams have now been put off due to the steep rise in the covid 19 cases. All Classes from 1 to 12 will also remain closed till May 15. The government spokesman said that fresh dates for the examinations would be announced sometime in May.

Students who are appearing for the Board exam can visit the official website of UPMSP upmsp.edu.in. As per the revised schedule, UP Board exams 2021 will now be held on March 8. Earlier, the exams were scheduled to begin on April 24, which has now been rescheduled to March 8. The exam has been rescheduled due to the panchayat elections in the state.
