This is as many Utahns 70-years-old and older have been told they will have to wait for their appointments. I was on the computer every single night for maybe a week and a half, trying to get a slot,” said Allison Downs, a Lehi resident.
Downs said her grandma in Utah County isn t fast on the computer, so she s been the one racing to claim her a spot.
People over 70 will be prioritized first, followed by those with underlying health problems.

The Salt Lake County Health Department has allotted 80 COVID-19 vaccines to the Fourth Street Clinic for people experiencing homelessness.
The clinic will begin vaccinating people over 70 at their headquarters at 409 W. 400 South in Salt Lake City early next week. The Clinic’s Mobile Health Care program will distribute vaccines at homeless resource centers the week after.
Police on Thursday arrested a man with a lengthy criminal history after they say he recklessly fled from officers and put other lives in danger. Officers had been looking for someone else when they began chasing him.
