After years of waiting, the conclusion of the Total Warhammer trilogy is finally here. The third and final entry on Creative Assembly s first (and so far only) foray into the fantasy genre comes with high expectations, especially following the success of Total Warhammer 2 and Three Kingdoms extensive list of new features.

Same Game, Different Theme
Unlike the sequels of historic Total War games, the Total Warhammer trilogy mainly consists of reskins of the previous titles with a handful of quality of life improvements added on top. Warhammer 3 is no different it slightly expands on Warhammer 2’s features while keeping the same mechanics, UI, and underlying systems unchanged.

With it, Sega’s Creative Assembly will have achieved something remarkable: Not only will it have tackled one of the most popular franchises in tabletop gaming history, it will have included every one of its factions in digital form. That includes two factions that don’t even exist in the latest version of the Old World tabletop universe the armies of Kislev and Cathay.
Players who collect and paint Warhammer miniatures have their own favored factions. The Old World setting includes fan favorites such as the High Elves, Bretonnians, and the Skaven. But the larger lore speaks of armies and peoples that have never been fielded in the eighth edition of the miniatures game. Sega has released a new trailer for Total War Warhammer 3 (after accidentally releasing a low quality version of it a little earlier today), setting the scene for the epic battles that fans can expect to cap off the cross-over trilogy of games. With the forces of Chaos threatening to consume the world, the frigid lands of Kislev and their hardened warriors brace themselves to repel the invaders, acting as a bulwark for the rest of the world.

The trailer shows off plenty of new units that we can expect to see, with the melee focussed forces of Khorne invading. Arrayed against them are the armies of Kislev (inspired by Russia, obviously), riding bears into battle. It all comes to a head as a towering demon leaps into battle with a gigantic elemental ice bear, before giving us a glimpse of the Realms of Chaos.

I ve re-uploaded the mod 2021-04-24 - and it s been updated with at least 69 new strat-models at minimum. It also has a few updates to both campaigns - removing any CTD-friendly unit and improving things. - Now it also has big changes to the Frozen Throne-campaign, and it has been changed over the entire map. 37 of the strat-models are the same as in the april 10th release - 32 new models has been added since.
