The allegations against 50-year-old Marc Heick were so serious that the investigation involved multiple agencies, including the department of Homeland Security, according to Camden County Prosecutor s Office.
Acting on a tip that someone in the Heick Somerdale home was alleged to have been searching the web for sexually explicit images involving kids, detectives were able to secure and execute a search warrant. That warrant reportedly turned up evidence that confirmed the suspicions.
In addition to Homeland Security agents (from the Cherry Hill office of HSI), the search warrant was executed on Wednesday, February 10 by investigators from the High-Tech Crimes Unit, Somerdale Police Department, and Camden County Sheriff’s Special Emergency Response Team, camdencountypros.org reports.
