Western Bulldogs players and staff have been forced into self-isolation after a staffer attended a coronavirus exposure site on Thursday.
Bulldogs training was cancelled today, with players and staff tested. They will be required to isolate until they receive a negative result.
The club confirmed the development in a statement released this afternoon. Western Bulldogs players, football department staff and match-day staff have all received coronavirus tests today and are currently isolating until they receive a negative result, after a staff member reported being at Highpoint Shopping Centre during the exposure period, the statement read.

Western Bulldogs players and staff have been placed into quarantine after a staff member went to Highpoint Shopping Centre during a COVID exposure period.
Five community cases have been confirmed in the latest cluster around Melbourne’s northern suburbs, with restrictions being tightened as a result. Western Bulldogs players, football department staff and match-day staff have all received coronavirus tests today and are currently isolating until they receive a negative result, after a staff member reported being at Highpoint Shopping Centre during the exposure period, the club said in a statement. As a precautionary measure, players and staff were asked by the AFL, in consultation with the State Government, to undergo testing and isolate to rule out any risk.
