Rookie group STAYC was the recent group to take part in the transonglation challenge of Rolling in K-Pop in which the members sang in three different languages.
On Dec. 12, Rolling in K-Pop uploaded the video of STAYC s transonglation challenge. Six members of the rookie girl group are divided into three pairs: Yoon and J, Sumin and Isa, and then Sieun and Seeun. Yoon and J were assigned to sing in Tagalog, Sieun and Seeun in Indonesian, and Sumin and Isa in Vietnamese.
Before the challenge kicked off, STAYC members did a warm-up in which they practiced singing in their designated languages. Afterward, the real match began. The girl group sang their debut song So Bad with some parts translated into Tagalog, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. The members showcased their vocals as they sing their lines in the track, while the language changed from time to time.
