Religious View: May the risen Christ encourage a desire for new life Religious View: The Rev. Karen Freeman I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very blessed and Happy Easter from me and all at Grace Episcopal Church. Many Christians call Easter “Resurrection Sunday,” as we celebrate Jesus rising from death – a victory that paved the way for us to new life in Christ. We believe in life after death – in eternal life, which in fact begins now, when we live through faith in Jesus. This hope lives deep within our souls and is affirmed by the Bible – “If the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11)
