MOULTRIE, Ga. â The Jack Gay Scholarships are given to Colquitt County students enrolled at Southern Regional Technical College who have demonstrated success in their program of study and excellent career potential. Â

The Jeff Tech Operating Committee approved a motion to keep Dr. Thomas Lesniewski of the Punxsutawney Area School District as the Chief School Administrator and honored three employees including school nurse Donna Overman, printer Drew Gilhousen, English instructor Ron Doane at Monday’s meeting.
The committee also accepted over $130,000 for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program from the American Rescue Plan for Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund.
Director Dr. Barry Fillman said because of the LPN program’s accreditation, it qualified for the funds while other adult programs did not, but he and his staff are working on grant monies for those programs.
