FURIOUS publicans want to reopen like those in the North, branding the continuation of crippling Government Covid-19 restrictions PINTLESS.
Frustrated bar bosses here warn there will be an influx of punters from the Republic crossing the border when outdoor hospitality resumes in Northern Ireland on Friday, with indoor trading there following three weeks later.

A leaked memo due to be brought before Cabinet has revealed the Government s intentions on introducing a set minimum price of 10 cent per gram of alcohol, under Section 11 of the Public Health Alcohol Act.
REVELLERS will be dancing the night away without restrictions by November, a top nightclub boss expects.
Dave Morrissey, 48, who is the co-owner of Lost Lane on Dublin s Grafton Street, said if the vaccine rollout is a success he can t see why partygoers won t be heading to venues across the country later this year.

Acknowledging clubs will be the last thing to reopen, Morrissey is fed up getting his info from media and leaks and wants the dithering Government to give them a plan.
Dave told the Irish Sun: “I’d be really hopeful that by late, if not early November, we’d be back . . . our DJs and staff would all be back to work and customers will come out and enjoy themselves without restrictions.
