Whether the Texans give in to Watson’s trade request he’s frustrated with upper management is one question. Were they to acquiesce, two larger questions would loom for the Bears. Do they have enough capital to trade for him? And can Pace convince Watson, who has a no-trade clause and has been annoyed with the Bears’ pro day snub since it happened in March 2017, to agree to come to Chicago? It seems unlikely that all three answers would be positive. Long’s prediction for the Bears’ next starting quarterback, in fact, doesn’t veer far from Halas Hall. And, no, it’s not Mitch Trubisky.

Northwest Suburban High School District 214 could be the latest school system to join a class-action lawsuit against e-cigarette manufacturer Juul Labs that alleges the company s marketing tactics have put the health of students at risk.
District administrators advised the school board Thursday night of their legal counsel s recommendation to join the suit against Juul Labs and other unspecified parties involved in the production, marketing, sale and distribution of e-cigarettes and vaping devices. The school board could formally vote to join the lawsuit at the next meeting Feb. 11.
Some 250 public school districts in more than 20 states are already parties to the suit, led by the Frantz Law Group, APLC of California. That includes Maine Township High School District 207, whose board of education agreed earlier this month to become a plaintiff. As a pandemic that struck quickly, erased jobs and created financial crises for many suburban families continues into a new year, High School District 214 continues to join others to assist those in need.
At Rolling Meadows High School, that means continuing to utilize a greenhouse that had become a focal point for the school s groundbreaking agriculture program before COVID-19 closed all Illinois schools last March.
The school continues to conduct an once-a-week school meal bag pickup. On Dec. 17, for example, the high school s food service staff distributed more than 50 bags of basil and about 50 bags of lettuce to local families. Tomatoes from the greenhouse are now being added to the mix.
