New Delhi, Jan 19 : It is a vile and obnoxious tale of ethno centrism practised with great glee by a bunch of radicals in the heart of Kashmir Valley famed for its brand of Kashmiriyat on this fateful day exactly 31 years ago.
The abomination architected by a section of the JKLF leadership narrowed its whole gaze towards retribution and in the process paved the way for a systemic plan of ethnic cleansing of a minority community. This in turn led to metastasising of a peculiar kind where Islamic radicals held the Valley to ransom triggering the politics of abduction.

Lucknow: Gujarat cadre former IAS officer AK Sharma joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday. He was inducted into the party at its Lucknow office at 12 noon. Swatantra Dev Singh, UP BJP president inducted Sharma into the party. He is expected to play a key role in the state and is also a likely contender for the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) polls.

Co-operative Bank scam: Court warns NCP MLC Anil Bhosale to obey prison norms

The sessions court warned
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and prime accused in the Shivajirao Bhosale Co-operative Bank scam Anil Bhosale to obey the jail authority and maintain discipline in the
Yerawada Central Prison.
The warning came after the jail authorities filed at least seven complaints against Bhosale and prayed for shifting Bhosale to any other prison. All these complaints were heard together by the sessions court.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced on December 13 that the notification to fill up the pending vacancies of teachers, police, and others in various government departments in the state will be issued soon.
The Telangana CM made this announcement in the backdrop of completing two years of his second term in office.
