The United Kingdom and European Union have reached a post-Brexit trade agreement after months of fraught negotiations, the British government said in a statement Thursday. The breakthrough averts a much-feared no-deal scenario that would have sparked economic chaos and risked major disruption to the flow of goods and medicines.

A letter signed by 40 Members of European Parliament (MEPs) calls for preventing the entry of goods produced in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories into Europe.
MEP Billy Kelleher posted the letter on Twitter with a comment reading: The EU must use its economic power to ensure adherence to international law.
The letter addresses the EU Commissioner for Trade Valdis Dombrovskis and says: We write to you with regard to the issue of produce entering the European Union from, and trade with, illegal settlements in territories deemed occupied by other states.
Pak armed forces put on high alert: India planning attack on Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: India is once again preparing to destroy peace in the region by starting a false flag operation against Pakistan in a bid to divert attention from internal and external pressures that it faced following its embarrassing defeat in Ladakh and Do Kalam.
According to credible sources, India is preparing for an attack on the Line of Control (LoC) and on Pakistan-India Working Boundary. Owing to the possibility of an attack, Pakistan s armed forces have been put on high alert.
Sources said that India can resort to a border action or a surgical strike as part of its false flag operation so that it could divert attention from several of its ongoing internal problems, including the mistreatment of minorities, farmers protests, its growing atrocities in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K) and the resultant criticism from international media and institutions.

A European NGO claims to have uncovered a disinformation campaign that was allegedly being fronted by a Delhi-based think-tank.
This Indian think-tank was also involved in transporting mostly right-wing Members of European Parliament (MEPs) for a tour of Kashmir.
In an extensive report, the NGO “EU DisinfoLab” pointed fingers at a website “The EU Chronicle”, “the newest iteration of an influence campaign run by an Indian organisation called the Srivastava Group”.
The website mainly drives Indian security interests mainly against Pakistan and China by publishing content against their activities. This is then often reused by an Indian news agency and hundreds of domains, some of which were identified as Sierra Leone Times and TajikistanNews.net. One Indian business magazine had reportedly published at least eight clips from the Indian agency that were lifted from “EU Chronicle”.
